LOCATION: Alabama, Franklin County.  On Bear Creek Lake near Red Bay, Alabama

TERRAIN:   Rocky Terrain

OBSERVED:     My dad and I was fishing all of a sudden we heard a splash, we turn around in the boat and there was something standing on the bank kind of tall hairy looking creature we watched it for a minute then it moved off in the woods.  My dad witnessed the thing at the same time.

Some people at the boat launch told us people had been seeing things around there for years. I research it and found out that in the 20's a young man had seen the same thing back then.  We were about 500 ft. from the bank when we glimpsed it.

It was real noisy at first, but after it saw us it vanished real fast.

Description of Creature:   Tall hairy looking creature

Other Notes:   We went on fishing and looked for it some more, after that when we would come there to fish we would look for it.  It was a wild place you always thought something was out there.

Other Other Notes:  Yes in the 20's a young man sow something similar to what we had seen.

The area is real rugged till it gets to the water,  then it is real deep.  The area is real wild, with  lot's of rock and bluffs.
I have tried to track him down to talk to him but can't.
