TERRAIN: Wooded
OBSERVED: I was driving along Rocky Ridge Road in Birmingham, Alabama at around 6:00 am. At the time, this was a heavily wooded area. Suddenly this large, hairy creature ran across the road in front of me. It was about 6 feet tall, stood on its hind legs, and had long arms that moved back and forth as it ran. The hair was a dark brown. It disappeared into the woods on the other side of the road. I didn't get a look at its face...it didn't turn in my direction. It scared me and still scares me when I think about it, though I don't wish these creatures any harm.
