OBSERVED:
I was hunting and it was getting dark. I heard something cross the creek
that leads to the swamp. So I'm looking around thinking it may have been
a deer and a few min later I see the top of some big trees shaking but
no other trees were shaking. So I followed the trunk down and seen something
huge and kinda dark in color. It had a hand on each tree and was swinging
back and forth. I was pretty freaked out. I took my gun an shot it in the
air to run it off. When I shot in the air it looked at me and kinda jogged
off. If it was a person in some over alls I think they would have said
something when I shot. It took me about 10 min too work up the nerve to
get out of the tree stand. I took a shot about every 15 - 20 sec hoping
I would keep it scared away.
ADDITIONAL THINGS:
It stunk but I thought the wind may have changed and was picking up something
dead in the swamp.
DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:
About 8-10 ft and as wide as a gas pump. It smelled like a real stinky
wet dog that had rolled around in something dead about 30 min before I
seen it.
ACTIVITIES OF WITNESS:
Ain't Asked anybody if they have ever seen something that aint from the
area.
