TIME:     7:00 PM

LOCATION:   Walker County, Alabama

TERRAIN:    Wooded with Creeks

OBSERVED:    heard large animal crashing through thick woods and underbrush. we did not hear anything at first and all of a sudden my cousin and i heard tremendous crashing about 200 yds away. it came straight at us, never stopped until it got at the edge of the road, but stayed in the edge of the woods and just stood there looking at us. it was shifting from one foot to the other rather slow. my heart was pounding something awful. i was about 9 and my cousin was around 12. it was a clear night, full moon, we were going fishing at the mouth of the creek. we had an old rayovac flashlight and week batteries. we saw the whole outline of this thing. at first my cousin said it was just a horse before we saw it. it just stood there looking at us. horses don't hang out in woods. could not see any ears, the arms were down by it's side. the moon was so bright and behind the unknown creature. i would not be afraid to say it was 8 ft tall, we were looking up at it with the moon at its back, could not see any features but the out line of it. we were in shock. my cousin told me to run, but i couldn't. he had to come back and get me. there was no sound from it but could hear it breathing it was not out of breath. we thought it was a giant man, no smell.

Additional Info:    no way a man can move through the woods like that and make so much noise.

Activities of Witness:    we were going to the mouth of two creeks to fish. about 1 mile from house. walking down paved road. last house was a mile back toward home, we were talking kinda soft because the last house we past had a big old german shepard with few teeth.  we would sneak quietly by the house so the dog could not hear us.  it staid under the house. we broke a lot of fishing poles over the dogs head, it was very agressive. we always go to the mouth of the creek and fish and herd strange things but were'nt afraid. we never herd of bigfoot.

Description of Creature:  very tall. very broad. the moon was behind it and i could see hair on its head and shoulders. could silhouet. we were 10 ft from it looking up at it. looked at it about 30 seconds we did not say a word. i know it was looking down at us, i could feel it. my cousin turned on the light but it was too dim,the moon over powered the light. the head was kinda small compared to it shoulders. i remember well. could not see below thighs.
