Several times over the weekend

OBSERVED:
My husband & I spent the entire weekend at his parents cabin. It sits
on the banks of the bayou that leads into the lake. The 1st night we were
there, I hear a very loud whistle (2 blows) around 2:00 am. I was already
awake so I heard it loud & clear. I almost woke my husband up because
I thought someone was outside but finally convinced myself it was probably
a bird or something. The next several days, we fished on the dock. It was
hot so sometimes I would venture down there by myself, while my husband
rested. I heard several knocks on trees for minutes at a time, everyday,
several times a day. Across the bank was heavily wooded so you couldn't
see anything. I also heard several loud panting/low grunting noises. I
didn't sleep at night very well because I heard so many things outside
that weekend. I would be very interested in doing some more research in
this area.

Activities
of Witness: Close to
the water, not making any loud noises, fished the entire time while hearing
these noises. Only 2 boats came through the bayou that weekend we were
there so it's a very quiet area.

any tracks on land but didn't look very hard. I kind of almost didn't want
to find any. I knew we had a long weekend ahead of us & I might not
could have stayed!
