DATE:    November 4, 2008

TIME:     About 10:30pm

LOCATION:   Pulaski County, Arkansas

TERRAIN:    Wooded, swampy areas, rocky terrain

OBSERVED:    I was smoking on my back porch, looking to the woods that are adjacent to our mobile home lot. Immediately I noticed two round glowing red eyes looking directly in my direction. I wasn't scared, but amazed at what I was seeing. They appeared to be between 7 and 9 feet off the ground. I was moving my head back and forth to get a better view and suddenly these eyes started moving back and forth, exactly how an ape would sway and move its head back and forth. I observed them for about a minute. One of my neighbors was outside and turned on what I think was his water hose and started spraying either his vehicle or his mobile home. It made quite a loud sound.

Additional things:  Almost immediately I saw the eyes move from left to right and disappear, making me believe the sound startled it and it turned its head and/or body and moved away not making a sound. I cussed to myself as I was really excited about this and was quite upset at my neighbor doing something like this so late in the evening. I stood for another 5 minutes or so, waiting and hoping for more movement, but nothing. It was gone. This morning I took a quick look around the area where I saw the eyes and it is a really flat area so the height of the eyes were definitely between 7 and 9 feet high. I am going to the woods in a few minutes to check out things in detail. I sent a report to you a couple of years ago with almost the same report, except this time the eyes appeared much closer to me, just inside the tree line.

Activities of Witness:   Just watching the election on tv. I go outside about every hour to smoke as we have two small children. I have been following bigfoot research for many years now and am a pretty firm believer in their existence. I believe there are creatures here in Arkansas and possibly have the chance of a creature or two passing through this area occasionally. I believe that they move around much of their lives, like wild cats, etc. do, searching for food and safe shelter. I don't think they stay in one area too long unless they are protected by caves, or very secluded areas. I occasionally hear branches snapping or breaking late at night, and seem to hear bipedal movement. I know there are many deer in our area and a few bear, but can definitely tell the difference between bipedal and four legged movement.

Description of Creature:  Just the two round, glowing red eyes. The eyes appeared to be about the size of 1/2 dollars, and blinked once or twice before the swaying motion started.

Other Notes:    N/A

Other (Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes:    The Ouachita National Forest begins about 25 miles from here. But while our woods are slowly disappearing because of subdivisions and businesses, there are still many areas of swamps and wooded areas that will stay as they are. But in reading material about these creatures, I notice that there are many sightings around recently logged areas and cleared areas. They are being driven out just like other animals are. If it weren't for their intelligence they would end up in vehicle/creature accidents like so many other species of wildlife. But I think this is eventually inevitable.

Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments N/A
