LOCATION:   Woodruff County, Arkansas

TERRAIN:    Swampy, Hurricane Bottoms

OBSERVED:

It was eerily silent as we got our line strung Xxxxx says it's way to quiet here. As I cast we heard the first splash as if something was throwing a large rock or log into the water. Xxxxx got the gun and the noise happened again. Xxxxx decided to move the truck so that the head lights would be directed straight into the water and across the body of water. The noise stopped and it was just completely silent no crickets, frogs, birds, fish, bugs nothing !! We both got freaked out and got in the truck to leave as soon as we turned to leave and the headlights were no longer pointed towards the water bank there is a huge crash as a log is thrown at the truck parts flew over the cab and slid down the front glass. We both froze then smashed on the accelerator and moved in a big hurry to get out of there.

Additional Things:

We left hurricane and went over to bald knob lake to fish and the critters are all out and noisy!
