OBSERVED:
I was in the military at the time and duty driver for the Officer of
the
day It was a week end and the majority of the troops had gone back to
Fort
Ord.
One of his duties was to check
The communication sites on a routine we had three sites on the
reservation

who was in the military knows
detail
duty in the field on the weekend is pretty lax so when evening came the
DO had me drive to these sites myself the roads were dirt and rough cut
up the to the mountain top were the communications truck vans an
personnel
were. I was
coming back from a check alpha
site in the jeep I was about a third of the way down the mountain doing
about 5 mph watching the it
was single vehicle when from the
rite shoulder the high side something hurdled the hood of the jeep what
I saw in that split second or 2 Ill never forget two thick legs long
close
nit hairy legs out stretch in front of me I did not see anything above
the hip because of the jeeps canopy the hair look dark gray.
Never
stop or look back I just wanted to get down of that mountain as fast as
possible scared the living hell out of me never until I die will I
forget

the legs were about one and half times as thick as mine I was 5'8", 168
lbs
