DATE:   2/19/03

TIME:   1:30pm

LOCATION:  Colorado, Grand County

TERRAIN:  National Forrest

OBSERVED:    While on a dog sled ride through the snowy mountains above Winter Park, I saw a tall, almost black shadow move very quickly and smoothly between trees up the hill.  As we got closer, I saw the definite shape of what seemed to be a tall man, except that it was very large, faster "walking", and "thick".  It was very dark all over.  I thought it might be a bear, although they normally would still be in hibernation AND this was not as full as large as a bear.  Plus, this being was walking on it's two legs the entire time.  We were the only ones allowed on the private land, except for the natural animals that live there.

Activities of Witness:    Dog sledding in a private area of the mountains above winter park.

Description of Creature:  what seemed to be a tall man, except that it was very large, faster "walking", and "thick".  It was very dark all over.
