                                                              Reported  by Confidential

RECEIVED FROM: G.C.B.R.O. Web Site Submission Form

DATE: 1995-1996

TIME:   Early morning

LOCATION: Georgia, Barrow County

TERRAIN:    Cattle pastures broken by wooded areas

OBSERVED: I found a newborn calf eaten similiar to Mary Green's pictures only clean, no blood at all. Also during the same two year spread I took a 300 pound calf to the edge of the woods to bury the next day. Overnight it was eaten down to maybe 90 pounds. All soft parts were gone, also uncommonly clean. That day I buried it, that night it was dug up completely and eaten some more. I buried it again, next morning same thing. I buried it again this time pouring diesel fuel over it. This time it remained undisturbed.

During this time another bull calf disappeared completely without a trace. This calf always stayed close to its mother.

We also found one of our large cows down in the woods a very long way from a field in an area she had no real reason to go. No water, no grass, nothing but scrub trees and a long way to go back to either one. She had been dead for several days so was rather badly decomposed and rank.

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESS(ES):   Doing daily farm work

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:   N/A

OTHER NOTES:   No tracks or other animals were observed but the thought of bigfoot never entered my mind. I suspected dogs or coyotes but after seeing Mary Green's pictures, I'm not sure.

The only other thing that might relate is the story of the Wog in the Barrow County history book but it's an old Indian Legend.

OTHER SIGHTINGS IN THIS AREA:  There are currently no other sightings from Barrow County, Georgia, on the GCBRO database.  (February 26, 2002)
