OBSERVED:    I'll be completely honest I've never really believed that a Bigfoot or Sasquatch really existed. But, my grandmother who is deceased told me a story that has always stayed with me. My grandmother is from Gilmer County, Georgia she was a saint a God fearing Christian who always told the truth no matter the consequences. She told me when she was about 16 she and her 4 brothers and neighbor were coming home from a revival at the church she grew up in. They were all walking up the road and heard what sounded like a car that was out of control. She said it was like a heavy engine roar. She and everyone else jumped into a ditch so they wouldn't be hit. She stated once it was upon them she said it was massive hair all over it and running. She also said that it stared at them for a minute and jumped off an embankment. She said they ran home and told her mom and dad. They went looking for tracks the next morning but there was a rain that night so they found none. I have always believed her because she was such a great and honest woman. I don't know if this story will help any but thought I'd share anyway.

Other Notes:    I asked her if she thought it was a bear but she said bears don't run on two legs like this thing did. She said it had little eyes and bears don't have little eyes. We still own the part of the property up there and it still gives me the creeps a little bit. I fly fish, so when I'm alone up there, the story stays in the back of my mind. I don't know I guess the thing would be dead by now but it still is a little un nerving.
