DATE:         08/20/99

TIME:

LOCATION:  BlueRidge, Georgia, Gilmer County

Interstate 575 North

TERRAIN: Mountains

OBSERVED:  A glassworker went out to take measurement for glass installation. Upon arrival to the mountain property, he noticed two Bigfoot (one gray & one brown) standing on an unfinished cabin's balcony that overlooked the mountain scenery. The gray Bigfoot was described as being 7-8 ft while the brown was around 7 ft in height.

The installer reported that the Bigfoot walked down steps leading to a woodline and casually strolled of into the woods on an apparent created trail (indicating that they may have been seeking refuge at the unfinished cabin for some time). The worker stated that he waited a bit before entering the cabin (1/2 hour). Remarkably, he found sticks, twigs, limbs and old clothing that appeared to be some type of bedding location.

Unfortunately, the cabin is now occupied by the owners. The CBO is trying to gain permission to inspect wooded areas near the cabin. Hopefully, permission will be granted in January 2003.
No odors were described during the encounter.

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESSES:  Driving up to installation site in pick up truck (it was noted that the victim was playing loud heavy metal music).

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:  One gray & one brown bigfoot.  The gray Bigfoot was described as being 7-8 ft tall while the brown was around 7 ft in height.

OTHER NOTES:  Though GCBRO/CBO does not believe in a UFO/BigFoot connection; the witness did report seeing a UFO just weeks prior to his Bigfoot sighting.
Many crows in the area.

OTHER SIGHTINGS IN THIS AREA:Yes. (Refer to GCBRO Database, Georgia -Gilmer County)
