Bigfoot Sightings

OBSERVED: loud scram/growl/roar not human, not animals know to Idaho forests. the creature was lurking around our camp that evening while we sat by the campfire. but we just thought it was deer or elk. we went to sleep in our camper for a few hours & when I got up to visit a tree (pee), that is when I heard it. the creature made it known that it did not want us there, it was a terrifying roar scram growl all wrapped up into one vocalization. it sounded pissed off. It scared me so bad my body was stiff, I locked the camper door, took my 44 revolver out of the holster & just lay on the bed the rest of the night listening, but never heard another sound. We packed up camp & were far away before I even mentioned the encounter to my husband whom snored through it all.

Additional Things: our 3 dogs were woofing & growling as they watched the trees near the spring next to our camp, we thought nothing of it...until later.

Activities of Witness: camping in Copper Basin, we enjoyed the campfire until around 10:30 then went into our camper to sleep. got up to pee around 2 AM & heard it.

Description of Creature: what ever this was screamed louder than any human ever could, I have heard every animal native to Idaho, it was nothing that is known to live here.

Other (Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes: yes there was a report of another camper had one brush against his tent a couple years earlier about 1/2 mile away from where we were camped. (did not know this until after & researched the area)
