TERRAIN:    Flat land with crop fields near a forest
 

OBSERVED:    Well, I was on my way to my uncle's for Thanksgiving in Chicago.  My sister was reading a book while listening to her CD player. My little brothers were asleep and my parents were intent on not getting lost. I took my headphones off and began to rub my ears because they had begun to hurt.
It was about 7:00 and the sun was pretty much gone. Then I was looking out the window at the landscape. We had just left this road that came out of a forest. About less than a quarter of a mile from the forest I saw something's in the crop field (the crops were all flat on the ground in the entire field,
i don't know why but ask a farmer). So since the entire field was lying on the ground it was easy to see whatever it was that was standing up.
Immediately I thought it was a little kid on the side of the road. But it looked towards me and its eye's began to glow, just like when you look at a deer. It's eye's were yellow. As we drove by I saw it was covered in hair and it held something in it's hand. It jumped up out of my seat and nearly hit my head on the roof of the car. It's like it looked right at me! And we drove by and it jumped to the ground and it became hard to see it. It was probably an infant Sasquatch for it was only 5' tall. My family said I
was crazy so i never told this story to anyone else except for some of my closest friends. Which they have also had encounters with the Sasquatch.
 

Activities of Witness:   I was driving to my Uncles to spend Thanksgiving with him.
 

Description of Creature:  It was about 5' tall. Either black or very dark brown hair covered it. It's eyes glowed yellow like as if it were a deer. It held something in it's hand.
 

Other Notes:    I have heard of people at gas stations talking about it but nothing more.
