OBSERVED:
My boyfriend and myself were taking a drive after work. I had recently
gotten my license and we loved to drive down xx xxxxx Road, we called it
"Rattling Bridge" Road cause it had a wooden bridge that the slats rattled
on as you crossed it. It was late evening, just getting dusky dark. Approx
150 feet in front of us crossed this creature in an upright position. We
were speechless and only told a few friends. My boyfriend became my husband
and now my ex, but we still mention the incident occasionally.
Activities of Witness:
My boyfriend and myself had just left the city for a country drive. I had
just gotten off work and had my first car...a 1974 Mustang.
Description of Creature:
We only saw it from the right side view as it crossed the road in front
of us, upright on 2 legs. Appeared to be taller than normal humans, maybe
6 to 7 feet. Had very dark fur, long and unkept. Shoulders were thick and
walked with them hunkered forward a bit. It never turned to look in our
direction but took deliberate strides to cross the road. I don't recall
it taking too many strides before it was across. We slowed down where
it crossed at but the woods and creek area were dense and we were terrified.
