Bigfoot Sightings

OBSERVED: One large man like creature that crossed an approx. 30 foot trail in an impressive speed that was so quick that I would have been unable to snap a pic even if I would have had a camera on my lap as for I was in a vehicle along with a good friend of mine when it crossed the road. It appeared approx. 125 feet in front of us and disappeared into the thicket. We got down hoping to find tracks but to my surprise found a footprint that I figure had been made approx. one week prior to this date because of the rainfall that had occurred. This footprint was heading in the opposite direction and a cast is being made as we type this message. Two days after this happened, I spoke to a man who witnessed the same creature approx. 4 miles from this site but saw it due to the high pitched scream it made before running through the trees on a ridge in a nearby lake. What amazed him also was the speed that this animal could move. Since this happened I am reading about other sightings and now I understand why 2 yrs. ago one of my 4 wheeler trails was blocked with logs and branches leading to one of our deer stands at the back of our property. Now this is our private land and no one else is on this property. It lies in the middle of a National Wildlife Refuge. If you look at arial maps, it is the connecting point of the most northern part of the atchafayala basin

Additional Things: A week after we had the sighting, one of my friends wanted to go down and see if we could find any other observations that he may still be in the area. We approached on of our duct rings and heard something running out of the water and he caught sight of a small tree shaking but we were unable to cross because of the depth of the water. A few minutes later we both had this strange smell hit us but only lasted maybe one minute. It had the same smell of when you visit a bear's den at the zoo. We are planning to put camera's out since now I believe this creature has been in this are for at least 2 yrs. now. I can honestly say that we have never heard any strange noises except for a panther or two that do exist in this area.

Activities of Witness: Me and the friend who was with me during the sighting and another friend had been cleaning up duck hunting rings getting ready for this year's duck hunting. We ate lunch at approx. 2:00 that day, unloaded the vehicle , loaded up 5 gal. containers and decided to go to our camp to clean up the cabinets from last hunting season's grocery's and do a little cleaning up. We arrived on the property at approx. 4:10 pm with the sun still high in the west and approached the camp from a different area than we usually do because we didn't want to have to unlock a gate. We approached the camp in rather a parallel method using a shooting lane in a westerly direction and then making a 90 degree turn north we traveled toward the camp when it ran out into the road. We figured it was either at the camp or perhaps studying the camp.

Description of Creature: Approx. 6 1/2 - 7 feet tall, brownish hair,excessive speed, never looked our direction,looked like he had a radar to detect the trees ahead of him as he ran through the thick trees

Other Notes: Only the one that whereby I say my trail that had been blocked by logs and branched. Had never been able to put that one together until today when I viewed similar pic's on this site. Now I understand that possible he was in that area and didn't want anyone back there. Now, I find this very spooky. But, I have looked for wounded deer till almost midnight in many cases and I guess if he would have wanted to hurt me, he had plenty of chances

Other (Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes: Yes back approx. 8 yrs ago and back in 65. In 65 there were many sightings that were made in this Parish ( County ). Our camp and the sighting area sets high above the adjacent lands being an old Indian village proven to us by and Indian curator. Has artifacts dating back to the 1700's
