LOCATION:   Beauregard Parish, Louisiana  
 

TERRAIN:    Wooded 

 
OBSERVED:
    
We were young boys then ME 2 younger brothers and a friend all teens...we were at the old deer creek swimming hole on a 4th of july weekend. just out popping fireworks being boys..it got pretty late about 2am..1 brother and friend walked towards the creek were the bridge was 50yrds approx from swimming hole. me and another brother were by a campfire we built. mind you it was late and dark..only light was from campfire ...no houses near. something grunted about 2-3 times then ran down through the trees and brush towards the bridge were it started hitting on the bridge and ranting and growling. it sounded like it was gonna knock the old bridge down  .we  left as fast as we could in my brothers car..that was about 20 something yr ago but still fresh in our mind till this day..i never saw it ... it was dark but we heard something that scared us that nite.
