My ex-husband said, "he was sitting on his
deer stand that leaned up against a pine tree which was 15 to 20 feet tall.
He said, " he heard some rumbling in the bushes then he turned around to
see what made the noise. He said," I was so scared I froze and felt very
nervous and sit in my deer stand seat and could not move or breathe for
a long time. He also said, " I was too scared to try to shoot it
because I thought it would attack me if I missed shooting the huge animal."

My father, who is now age: 73 and still resides in Vernon Parish, Burr Ferry area heard a eerie sound when he went coon hunting in the early to mid 70's near the (Location Withheld). He was coon hunting and shot at some kind of figure that stood about 15 foot tall. He said, "when he shot the animal it screamed extremely loud and it sounded like a squeal that he had never encountered before in his lifetime. He also said, "This sound was definitely not a panther squeal.".
