LOCATION:   Franklin County, Massachusetts
 

TERRAIN:    Rocky Terrain
 

OBSERVED:    We where just kids at a summer Youth Conservation Camp - We had taken bikes down to the old town general store - just down the mountain across the XXXXX river - XXX and XXX where with me. XXX was from South Boston - XXX from Some coastal north shore town - Me - well who cares - we where on our ay back from the store on our bikes- when I spotted a huge shadow in the woods just next to a field. I stopped and XXX and XXX rode off- They glanced back at me and I waved them to come here. The smell was horrendous. A combination of burnt hair and bad bad body odor. They came back and I pointed look at that shadow it moved - I thought it was a bear. They laughed and said it was a rock. XXX picked up a fist size rock and threw it. That damn thing came out of a crouch and stood up it had to be eight feet tall - screamed and we rode like hell out of there.
 

Activities of Witness:   Riding bikes
 

Description of Creature:  Tall and dark - not very handsome at all - it stunk bad
 

Other Notes:    The sun had just went down.
 

Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments Upon contact the witness had no additional information to add to this report other than to confirm it was a legitimate report.
