TIME:     1:00 pm

LOCATION:   Worcester County, Massachusetts

TERRAIN:    Wooded

OBSERVED:    My wife and I decided to take a walk in a wooded area on 6/28/10. We were trying to walk to a reservior. We walked out to the power lines (maybe mile or two) and realized we had taken the wrong path. While heading out to power lines we heard a very loud noise that made us both nervous. She said "don't even start with Bigfoot, I don't want to get scared." She knows I think that they may exist. The noise stopped, it sounded like something moving in the brush, like a very large animal.

On the way back from the power lines, in the spot we heard the noises, were 6 Human (five toed) foot prints in a large dried up mud puddle. The prints were a little bigger than my foot- size 11. The thing that scared us was that they were very deep. Maybe 4 inches deep. I am 230 lb. and I was not even sinking in the mud. It looked weird because there were some deer tracks and it looked like the foot prints were from someone chasing the deer. Why would someone be barefoot in the middle of no where? We took pictures of the prints with her cell phone- the pictures are small but you can clearly see 5 toes and the force used to make the prints. I would say that someone well over 300 lbs had to have made those prints.

The first print was a right foot, that jumped out of the woods, the last print was a left foot darting back into the woods. I had a 6.5 ft fishing rod with me, and the space between the prints was longer than the rod. What ever made them was running very hard. Soon after seeing the prints, we both got nervous and became confused as to where we were. We ended up getting some what lost and it took us several hours to get out of the woods. I have been in these woods many, many times on my four wheeler and could not believe we were lost. Needless to say, I was happy to be out of the woods. It felt like we were being watched the whole time we walked.

Additional things: We heard a very large animal moving in the brush before we seen the foot prints- maybe 2 hours or so before.

I am going to try and post the pictures if we can figure out how to get them off of her phone.

Activities of Witness:   Walking in the woods

Description of Creature:  Did not see the animal (person) that made the tracks

Other Notes:    I have smelt a very strong (wet deer) smell when deer hunting in the area in years prior.

Other (Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes:    None that I know of.

Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments Upon contact the witness added: Thank you for giving me a place to post my experience. I can't believe what I saw. I said to my wife, while we were walking, wouldn't this be a great place for a Bigfoot to live? She laughed, but we both felt some sort of presence, we were definitely being watched. I am going to try and post the pictures we took, they are really cool. I hope they come out. It has been very dry here for the last couple of weeks. I am going to go back in the woods on Saturday to try and get better pictures. I believe that there is something out there.

Pictures taken at the site by the witness's cell phone were sent in and are posted below.

A picture of what I think is a left foot

Left foot compared to fishing rod- prints were not huge- just very deep. We had no problems walking on the mud.

Right foot running- at least 3 inches deep

Another right foot picture with fishing rod

Right foot print

These are the tracks- there are deer tracks in between the footprints.  It clearly looked liked it jumped out of the brush on its right foot
and then 6 steps later pushed off its left foot into the woods. The same way the deer was going. They were both running very hard. These
tracks were not there when we passed the first time.
I would estimate that the distance between foot prints was at least 7 feet.

Below is a few of the extra photos that was sent in, after the witness returned to the location with a regular camera, and cast one of the tracks.
This was after a heavy rain storm came through the area.
