LOCATION: Worcester County, Massachusetts

OBSERVED: On my way to an appointment I saw the remains of a large creature that had been hit and killed along the center medium of route 2 east ( a two lane divided highway ) in Gardner Ma. what I saw was a long haired ( about 5 to 7 inches long ) it was light brown with red, the traffic was moving along at highway speed and was quite heavy, I was in the left lane and could not get over to the right to pull over and stop to get pictures, I could see no Moose or Deer like legs, I did not see the head nor antlers, a few days later I read a news paper article about a Moose killed on route east in Gardner on that date, how ever I have been hunting for many years and this was not like any Moose that I have ever seen.

Additional Things: It was along the left side of the two lane divided highway

Activities of Witness: No other witness just me, driving to appointment at auto dealership

Description of Creature: Large with light brown/red long hair
