OBSERVED:    While me and my friend were fishing on a canoe in the lake we were in a cove near the dam and we were near the bank and I was right at the bank casting into the middle of this cove when I had an eerie feeling something was watching us. I did not tell my friend at the time but he had the same feeling and did not tell me. This went on for about 5 minutes when I started to look at the thick
brush near the shoreline about 15 yards away when all of a sudden I heard this high pitched screaming gorilla like sound. Very hard to describe the sound. Bone chilling. And then we heard it take off running and we could hear the heavy thuds of each footstep and while it was running we could hear it breaking big branches or trees as it was running. I had dropped my fishing pole in the water and we got to the middle of the cove as fast as possible. Thank God it did not come after us as we would of been caught.

We as kids used to hike the lake every year there and since that occurance we never did again. The only time I ever heard that sound again was when I visited the xx website and they had a recording that was Identical to what I heard that day. There was another report of a Bigfoot sighting in Sykesville that same year where the State Police shut down river Rd along with Federal vehicles.
Piney Run Parks lake feeds the patapsco river from the dam and it was not but maybe 3-5 miles form where our incident occured.
Also we had found a deer skull near the bank and we could see it from the canoe and my friend gathered the skull. We did not smell
any foul odor but the sounds were definetely something I will never forget.

Activities of Witness:   Fishing from the canoe.

Description of Creature:  Loud screaming gorilla type sound. Heavy thuds when running and breaking of good size trees or branches.
