OBSERVED:
I was in 8th grade, headed to school with my older sister who was driving.
A few miles down the road from our house, and in front of an apple orchard,
there was a tall hairy creature standing on the pavement. It stood
on the opposite side of the road, but still on the tar. It was facing
the small wooded area in front of the orchard, but had its head turned
at us. It was slightly hunched over with long arms. Its fur
was extremely shaggy and very very dark brown. we were not close
enough to make out facial expressions, but close enough to see most of
it well. It stood around 6 feet tall. It disappeared into the
woods and my sister and i have never heard or seen anything related to
it since.
Activities of Witness:
Riding to school with sister.
Description of Creature:
About 6 feet tall. Very dark shaggy fur/hair. Slightly hunched
with low hanging arms. Rather than being broad, like most people report,
it was more on the thin side.
Other Notes:
About 15-20 minutes away, i remember when i was around 10 or 11, i was
riding with my dad in a truck and we passed a road and i saw something
for a slit second that resembled a bigfoot and i said to him "dad, turn
around, quick. i think i just saw a bigfoot";. he turned around
and we drove very slowly in the area i had just seen it, but there was
nothing there. He told me it was probably just a bear. It is
possible it could have been a bear, since i only saw it for a split second,
but it would have had to have been walking on 2 feet. just makes
me wonder, since i KNOW i have seen a bigfoot since then. it could
have been another one, or the same one.
Additional Notes or Comments: There were a lot of missing pets in out neighborhood at this time.
