OBSERVED:    I had just came home from work, the temperature that evening i was unusually cold. The temperature was 60 below and the wind-chill made the temperature 90 below.  The reason i mention this is because the first thing i noticed was this ungodly stench, it seemed to be very warm in smell.  And in those temperatures there wouldn't be this kind of stench. like a dead animal and wet smell.
In this yard there was a Old Maine barn , very large the only things the owners had were two small ponys.  But the barn was not used because it was old and and falling apart. I instantly got the feeling something was watching me. Staring at me. It also was a full moon that night, so you were able to see really well.  I couldn't see any thing but sure there was some thing The ponies started to run. And acting upset and standing very close to me. Staring right at the barn. I had an urge to go into the barn, I got right to the door and stopped
I could smell that pungent smell again. Feeling at that time i was in danger, i went back to the trailer home i was in i just went to open the door and i could hear something running again.  looking over to see that the ponies were still. I then heard an unusual sound almost like a scream, but more of a screech. Which gave me the chills just hearing it.  i went in to the trailer at that point.

Later on there was a large bang on the side of the trailer like someone punched the side of the trailer, and i heard a scream again. i shut the lights out and i looked out into the field. nothing . but the ponies were on a dead run again. Normally these ponies were very placid. Didn't do much running.

Other Notes:    There was another person , that lived next door that also opened the door to talk to me when i arrived home also could smell that stench.

The next day , i went to look around the trailer i found foot prints , and i hadn't been nor had anyone else been out there at all. Not knowing at the time to really check this out more carefully, at the time. i just notice that some one had been out there. It wasn't until 10 years after this i saw a documentary on bigfoot . that the sound the creature made sounded very much like it.
