TIME:            Between 11:00 P.M. and 1:00 A.M.

LOCATION:   Between Lanse' and Baraga Michigan, Baaraga County

TERRAIN:       Swampy

OBSERVED:  Well I don't know if this is true or not, but a friend told me on
Sunday 4-7-02 that he knew a cop from his job. He said that this cop came in
one day and told him that he had a Sasquatch encounter. He told my friend
that he was driving down the road and turned on his headlights and saw
something standing in the road. It was about fifty meters in front of him.
He said it stood about nine feet tall. He said that it ran across the road,
and right through a swamp. Then off into the woods. So he sat there with his
patrol car off and sat there for about ten mineuts. Then he heard a high
pitched scream.  Kinda like a woman, but more high pitched. When this happened
he said the hairs stood up on the back of his neck. He said that was the
fastest he ever turned on that patrol car and took off.  He got it running
across the road on his dashboard camera. He sent it to some place in Texas
to get it annalyzed.

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESS(ES):  He was a State Trooper on routine patrol.

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:   He said it stood about nine feet tall. It was pitch dark. So he couldn't see much.
