OBSERVED:     My son who was 18 at the time and I drove our SUV onto this dense area off the beaten path, we ran into a couple on horses when we got to this area. They told us to be careful out there. We thought that was odd, but we got out of SUV and took off into very dense path, it was just starting to get dark when we got there, we started hearing these horrible screams, I've lived in MO. my entire life, grew up on a farm, I've never heard any thing like it. Then we stopped looked at each other, and suddenly started hearing branches break, rocks thrown at us and more horrible screams, we turned around ran as fast as we could and got the h--- out of there, this is not the only encounter I had around that area, In Nov. I was driving home from work worked evening shift in Mt. Vernon, MO. driving home on 76 highway to head home when on right hand side of rode I could see something up ahead, area is full of cattle and turkey farms, I thought at first maybe it was a cow or horse that got out of fence until I got up on it, It was diffenantly a BIGFOOT, young probably about 5 to 6 feet tall, stopped on side of rode just within a few feet of my car then took off into field on right side of rode bound a fence like it was nothing and took off.

Description of Creature:  About 5-6 feet tall, stopped stared into car lights, then suddenly took off into cattle field on right side of rode, area was surrounded with brush, this was not far from where my son and I had first encounter.
