OBSERVED:    While tracking a deer that was shot, we kept hearing footsteps in the distance and getting closer. We ended up on a wide trail off of a fire lane and there were limbs snapped and hair found about 6 1/2 feet in a limb.
 

Additional Info:    Hair found. Footsteps heard. The animal seemed to stop when lights were shined toward it. By railroad tracks. Rural area. Hair at least 3 to 6 inches long. I still have hair samples.
