REPORT RECEIVED FROM: The GCBRO Online Report Submission Form.

REPORT POSTED TO GCBRO WEB SITE ONAugust 31, 2013

DATE:    7/4/2013

TIME:     7 pm to 4 am

LOCATION:   Lamar County, Mississippi

TERRAIN:    Swampy

OBSERVED:    Mr. P found 5 foot prints on july 5th. I found a trackway crossing Lower Little River on the 12th where I found a huge Handprint  and another huge left footprint on the trackway on Mr. P's side of the river. I got 2 foot prints in plaster casts on the 5th of july Left foot is 16 inches long right foot is 17 inches long.5' 2'' between footsteps. This thing walked from Behind Mr.P's home across a grassy sandbar into the river.I found where It came out of the river about 100 yds downstream. It walked straight up a steep sandbank. I installed game trail cams, but never got anything in the 2 weeks they were up. Now  30 ft. behind the owner's house on Lower Little River is where Mr. P  found the tracks..We were BBQing all day 4th of july.no fireworks at all in our area.app 12 to 15 people in and out of the swimhole all day.We BBqd 5 or 6 pork ribs all day. There came a big rain around dark thirty.Foot prints were made AFTER the rain on july 4th.I  made casts the next morning.I stayed on Mr. P's  land app 6 weeks in my motorhome trying to catch a glimpse or more. I had rocks thrown at me while I was swimming in the swimhole behind Mr. P's home.Even had a witness to one rock hitting the water about 10 ft.behind me.I woodknocked several times.I got one real good response.Huge Footfalls coming towards me,then it stopped, rapidfire woodknocking then moving closer, more woodknocking, then silence. It would woodknock after I went in my motorhome a lot of times..Way too spooky to sit out in that swamp at night alone! There is a Lady lives upstream says she heard sounds like someone talking backwards and growling ,grunting, hissing, in the days during the week of july 4th.This area is really primitive, remote, and likely a Sasquatch lives in this small area..If You want,I can meet someone interested in this situation and maybe go canoing/camping/investigating on this river. Really Beautiful Area...

ADDITIONAL THINGS:  Medium to small caves in this river's banks.I think this is where this thing lives those rocks thrown at me were coming from that area. A huge wild pig was killed behind Mr.P's home last winter The head and legs were torn off all the belly innards missing He recovered that wild pig and is still in his freezer.I told him that thing probably knows  you got his Hog!.Mr.P also claimed someone has been banging on the side of his home that is 8 ft.off the ground on 12" pilings... in the early morning hours since then. Something rattles his whole house, wakes him up,he goes downstairs to see,and nothing. He even thought it was me doing this.I said " No way would I do that! Any ways,I'm sound asleep that time of night!" so this saga continues...

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:  Well,if the footsteps are 5' 2'' apart with this thing walking,it would be about 9-10 ft. tall.the heels on these prints are HUGE.the one in the photo is the left foot.

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESS:   Swimming with friends talking with friends interacting with friends all day just having fun like everybody else on july 4th

OTHER NOTES:    Yes.I wrote in about a critter encounter in Lamar county  with the same property owner Mr. P. He doesn't want exposure.wants to remain anonymous...There are canoers and tubers go down this river almost daily during summer...

HISTORICAL OR NEIGHBORING AREAS:  Yes,but people are not too open about their experiences.

ADDITIONAL NOTES AND-OR FOLLOW-UP COMMENTS Upon contact the witness had no additional information to add to this report.
