DATE:    12/07 & 08
 

TIME:     late evening. 
 

LOCATION:   Rankin County, Mississippi 
 

TERRAIN:    pond wooded on north open pasture to south. 
 

OBSERVED:    Every year about december/january beginning 2008.  we have heard a scream that sounds like a woman or small child.  Could this be a panther?  I have read a report of a cougar being seen in Rankin county along this time line.  But it did not say what part of the county.  I looked but no tracks found.  Only the sound & odor

Additional things: Additionally is the odor that follows a strong skunk like odor very strong will make your eyes water.  it always comes later after the scream.  Also my wife reports eyes yellow in color when we heard these sounds only for a second as it turned from the light. 
 

Activities of Witness:   walked out on back porch to smoke.  
 

Description of Creature:  No animal seen only eyes.
