LOCATION:   Smith County, Mississippi  
 

TERRAIN:    Wooded 

 
OBSERVED:     We had been expecting bad weather, although it wasn't raining yet. A tornado warning was issued for our area and I stepped just outside to scan the sky. As I was watching the fast moving clouds I heard a deep, loud yell from the woods across the highway. Every dog and coyote within miles of us began barking and yelping afterwards. I had never heard anything like it until I watched Finding Bigfoot on TV. It sounded exactly like the loud "yell" that they do to attempt a response.

Activities of Witness:   Watching weather report on TV...stepped outside to observe clouds.

Other (Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes:    Same general area on another summer night the horses were running around the field and blowing all night. They were extremely spooked by something.
