OBSERVED:    OMG! I am so excited. We have definitely got a sasquatch right here in this area. Dawn was just breaking and I was enjoying my first cup of coffee on the side deck which faces an open pasture that has a pretty deep hollow in it and it runs long north and south. The hollow was filled with a heavy fog that would burn off quickly that day. It seemed so quiet and peaceful. Suddenly, out of that fog came a series of sounds that I'd never heard before. It was something between a grunt, a growl, and a huff. Two of them, very loud, very clear and very near followed two long and mournful echoing whoops. I was suddenly overwhelmed with sadness for this lonely sounding bigfoot. What an experience. A week later my neighbor (avid outdoorsman) heard these totally unfamiliar sounds and I said, "Yes, I know. I believe we have us a a new kid in town" 
 

Additional Info:    Not really but I'm up early on the deck with a hot cup of coffee every morning. Hopefully I'll have a follow-up one day! 
 

Activities of Witness:   Drinking Coffee on side deck. 
 

Description of Creature:  He just seemed to be expressing his loneliness to himself, which I hope is NOT the case

Other (Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes:    Stone Co. hasn't had any resent activity as far as I know. People just don't seem to want to talk about such things unless they're close but I certainly think I'll make some subtle inquiries now or just sit out in the woods with my camera and hopefully get some pics just for me.
