DATE:     11-07-99

TIME:        Early morning 7:30 A.M.

LOCATION:    North Carolina, Johnston County
 

TERRAIN:        Heavily dense forest in my yard that backs a swamp
 

OBSERVED:      I was already parked in my carport behind my new house. I was closing on it in two days and went there to dust and clean the inside for the appraisers.  My neighbors on both sides were gone for work. I came out to my car to get the vacuum out, when I was drawn to the back yard by this heavy crunching coming from the left side yard. It was heavily wooded and backed up to a County nature preserve. It came closer towards the house and at first, I thought it was a man coming to talk to me from the woods. I thought what kind of man could be out hiking this time of morning? I knew my neighbors were gone. I finally could see him now. He was tall and dark and appeared at first to be a large man unclothed but could not see the hair yet.  Then he saw I was alone and since I did not make a move for fear of him, he drew in closer. He finally came to an abrupt stop in front of a large fallen oak that lying down; was 7 feet up. He starred at me like he was studying me. I started to get nervous, looked at the back door and started to make a run for it. No sooner than that thought processed through my mind, he sensed my fear and like an ape turned his entire upper body to aim back at his path, leaped over the fallen oak and was running like nothing I had ever seen before.  His face resembled some reconstructive photos I saw in my biology book, I examined later of an Australiaupithicine. I hope that's spelled right. That was just the first of my many encounters and now I understand him better. I am not as afraid of him. I am also working on a book about him.

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESSES:  Came out to my car to get the vacuum out.

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:  Tall appeared to be a male approx 7ft 6 to 8ft tall, dark hair medium length fur, curious, grunting, whistling, appeared to be happy and carefree but curious, extremely fast moving with superiour muscular build., ongoing (activity) am feeding him almost daily !!!!!!

OTHER NOTES:  I have since moved do to changing jobs, and it followed me here. I only moved 10 miles further. Limb formations are all over my property. Huge teepee formations that are massive and towering; better than any seen on the net so far. Some footprints also, but do not wish any investigative work here because, I respect the way he and others live and depend on there secrecy for survival.
