Bigfoot Sightings

OBSERVED: I am writing this as described to me by local resident XXXXX XXXXXXX. I have always been fascinated with bigfoot but found it very hard to believe that no bodies have ever been discovered or one has never been shot and killed to be examined. The topic came up one day while talking about strange experiences that we could recall. I told my story of strange objects in the sky that I would classify as unidentified. After my story my friend XXXXX lost color in his face as he recalled an incident in the woods behind afore mentioned campground, XXXXX and a buddy of his were in the woods hunting small game both had 12 gauge shotguns and were avid hunters as they were coming to the clearing leading to the power lines heading home both gentlemen heard as described by them thunderous crashing in the woods around them limbs were actually being snapped as whatever it was charged toward them. remember both men are armed with shotguns but the noise was so fierce and aggressive the men darted out into the clearing for fear for there lives. After sprinting full bore for a good hundred yards XXXXX recalls looking back to see what was chasing them. He described it as an upright creature with very dark hair standing upright at the location they exited the woods 8-9 ft. in height weighing well over 400lbs its arms as described by XXXXX were very long and body width very wide with shorter thick legs. The gentlemen have never returned to the location because of the absolute fear of the incident. I as I said am a skeptic but the look in my childhood friend as he recalled the incident sent chills through my body his hair on his arm stand on end as he described the encounter to me and he actually has to pause several times as the terror of that day still overwhelms him. My family owns that afore said Campground and in the time frame of that incident I camped out very often to attend to the daily chores of running the establishment, mowing grooming and Maintenance. I often recall nights sitting by the campfire with a distinct feeling of being watched. Upon hearing his story and his emotion of that day I know I was!

Activities of Witness: dusk after a evening of small game hunting in very dense woods.

Description of Creature: 8-9ft. in height very wide body long arms that hung past the knees and shorter but very stout legs.

Other Notes: I firmly believe the encounter actually happened and am disturbed that something could exist the could provoke that much fear into two armed men.

Other (Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes: I have heard of one second hand story very similar to XXXXXs as described by another friend the details were very close in description.
