LOCATION:   St. Lawrence County, New York 
 

TERRAIN:    Lots of caves and pine trees 
 

OBSERVED:    saw face herd it breathing and smelt real bad sneaker rot.  I was a camp counselor at 4-h camp wabaso I had my own cabin near woods I believe I had about 6 campers in my cabin no one else woke up it scared me so bad i could not move.

Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments:  This thing was very tall.     how i know is the cabin i was staying in was on stilts eye level for the windows outside were at least 6 foot to the sill,  this thing looked right in and was breathing very heavy like it had just ran for a ways.    I also heard of sightings around there after my sighting i have never told anyone but i was very scared.        Also in 1984 it was end of april beginning of may just got back from florida went camping in adirondacs cold brock east branch was out camping with ex boyfriend .   our last night camping had fire going
the location is a known camping spot pine pond first we heard screaming but it wasn't no cat yell that alone scared me about 15 min after the scream dead silence then we herd heavy crashing at a distance of about 300 yards then a rabbit ran right almost into the fire . i heard heavy feet coming from behind me when turned around i saw reddish orange eyes about 8 feet high and i could smell that same smell i smelt before the eyes were reflecting orange red color.
