Bigfoot Sightings

OBSERVED: We were camping with a 4-6 other families and the tents were basically in a big circle with a large bonfire in the middle . the actual tents were under some pine trees with a more open area where the adults were sitting around the fire talking a distance in front of the row of tents. I left the campfire to check on the kids sleeping in our tent and had to walk in front of a few of the tents to get to ours.

As I passed the tent next to mine there was what i take to be a young bigfoot standing behind and between the tents, out of the bright light from the fire but i could still see it clearly. It was about my height, which is 5'7". I probably wasn't more than 20-25 ft away from it but didn't smell anything like some say they smell. I would call it grayish brown hairy over it's body( not real long hair, a little longer than gorilla hair but not really long like it was flowing, but not hairy on it's face. It's face was not like a person's but not like an gorilla or any other ape i have seen either, the facial features were flatter, more like a person's (not the big rounded jaw an ape has) but not anyway human like i could think it was really a person.( sorry it 's hard to describe) the eyes deep set but not as deeply set as a gorilla's and looked amber( maybe due to the firelight reflection) and the nose wasn't as wide as a gorillas..more human like . it had hair on the sides of it's head but i didn't see any ears or anything else I stopped dead in my tracks and it stared at me and I stared at it. It startled me since I didn't expect to see it but it never moved, giving me the impression it was just as scared. I think it was young because it was small and also seemed innocent( ok i know that sounds crazy) like it was just curious not out to hurt us. it shook me up so I went back to the fire and it disappeared.

Activities of Witness: Like i said, we were sitting around a campfire after dinner talking, no one was drunk or anything like that. it was a family camping trip with kids.

Other Notes: I never saw or heard anything in the rest of the trip but we stopped going to that campground after that yr. I always ( in the trips before and that one) got a creepy feeling at that campground like we were being watched and it was never busy there, a lot of times we were the only group there.
