OBSERVED:
I was 10 years old, playing in my back yard at about dust. All of
a sudden I heard what sounded something between an elephant and a lion
screaming in the woods across the street of my house. It had a deep massive
sound like something big. It struck deep fear into my heart, so much so
I dropped what ever it was i was doing and ran to the house with tears
flowing from my eyes. I was so afraid I could hardly open the door.
I only looked toward the woods for maybe a second? I didn't see anything
nor did I want to. As soon as I was in the house older sister asked,
"what's wrong?" I said, "Bigfoot" That's all I said and cried
some more. Later my older brother told me it was a deer but 30 some
years later I know it wasn't. I didn't play in those woods for a
couple of years after that. None of my sister wanted to go feed our dog
that night. They were convinced. I've looked the wood via satellite
and it doesn't seem like they are big enough for this kind of activity
but I do know that deer often hide there.

Info: I forgot about
my experience until I heard another man from Ohio tell a story about his
childhood big foot experience. He described the sound the same way
and then my memory was awaken. I only post this because it seems
hard to believe that Bigfoot may have lived in Ashland county but if deer
are part of it's diet then who's to say?

of Creature: Never smelled anything
as the woods were to the east of my house. Wind always seemed to
come from the west from my memory of living there.
