OBSERVED:    I saw the head, from the back, upper back and shoulders of what i take to be a large male bigfoot. i caught him walking away so i am guessing he was looking in my laundry room window which would have been the only lit window with no curtains in the back of the house facing the field. A
 

Activities of Witness:   Washing clothes, putting clothes in the dryer when i saw it out the window of the laundry room  
 

Description of Creature:  I didn't see the face, it was dark grayish brown straight coarse fur, long (ie i couldn't see the neck, like if a  woman has long hair you see the general shape of the back of the head then it flows down to the back.) the head wasn't rounded, more slightly cone shaped( not like the coneheads, just a little tapered). It was probably 7.5 feet as husband measured to where i saw it the next day. didn't see any ears, the shoulders were very broad so i couldn't see the tops of the arms in the window, it was standing with it's side toward me walking away from the window.  
 

Other Notes:    It banged on the house as it was leaving, like an angry person might punch something but since it didn't dent the siding must have not hit it that hard.

Some of this happened before i saw the bigfoot some after. i often would hear the gravel crunch in the middle of the night, footsteps, in our drive that circled behind our house next to my bedroom and attached to the drive and lot of the business next door( same owner)  but when i would look out the windows wouldn't see anyone. sometimes i heard stuff being dragged across the gravel. i would look out front and back from my windows since i wondered if someone was trying to steal stuff from the shop next door or some of my husbands ladders he kept out back but never saw a person or car and wondered how in the world someone got there and where were they planning on putting what ever they were dragging to get away with it. now i wonder if it was bigfoot "passing through" to get to the field and woods behind.  the steps were loud enough to hear even when the windows were closed.
 shortly after i saw the bigfoot in the window  once i came home after dark and when i pulled in by the side door could see a light from the kitchen which was shining out the side and back faintly..i heard a fake sounding owl like call coming from over by the garage of the vacant house then another answer from behind my house (but obviously not a real owl, it didn't sound like a real owl just resembled an owl) and then 2 knocks on wood from behind the vacant house garage...i now think it was one bigfoot by the vacant house warning one that was looking in my back window. it scared me( hair raise on the neck) and so i beeped my horn hoping my husband would come to the side door and scare away whatever was back there and evidently saw me pull in. i waited for a few mins, it got all quiet and i ran into the house as fast as i could (lol) a number of times i would hear that same door's knob rattle in the middle of the night, like someone was trying to get in. my daughter's bedroom was right above that door and she heard it as well. i was to chicken to see what it was doing it but it was loud enough to wake me and scare me. now that i have read accounts of bigfoot doing that think it probably was him. when i saw the one by the window and most of this other stuff was going on ( except for the foot steps and the field stuff, experienced those throughout the 3 yrs we lived there) the house next door was vacant and the guys working on it would leave pizza boxes etc. in the dumpster they had for  busted drywall etc. i think that was why they came so close to the house. however before the time i saw him( no way i went back there after dark after i saw him) i tried a few times to take my camera and tripod back into the field at night closer to my house( maybe 30-40 feet back behind the business garage towards the left woods but in the field still) to take photos of the moon and always got such a creeped out feeling, like someone was there and watching me, i never could get it set up to take the shots. I would get this overwhelming urge to just get out of there. now i wonder if bigfoot gives off some kind of pheromone or something the you pick up on but don't really "smell" consciously. it's the same feeling i got anytime i went over toward the woods area behind the business to attempt to explore it, just knew i was somewhere i didn't want to be and like something was there watching me.
we used to get "skunk" smells all the time when we lived there but i never really thought to much about it, just figured it must be a skunk who walked by and did his thing although the smell didn't linger like skunk usually does.
 we also had a garden and often i would see a bunch of ripe tomatoes one evening, go out to pick them the next morning, they would all be gone..this happened so often i even asked the guys who worked next door if they took them but they said they didn't.
so i think now all of this was connected but didn't know enough about bigfoot to really check into it at the time and the houses have changed hands and some stuff build up now where some of the woods were...however a friend of us build a new house that would butt up against the other side of the woods and has had some, as he calls it," weird stuff" happen..he used to laugh at my bigfoot accounts but not anymore and i told him not to let his dog out when he heard something "weird" since i have heard a few stories about the dogs getting hurt and he doesn't. i don't think he has ever seen one, he won't say for sure, just says he heard odd stuff. this whole area is by wetlands, game preserve, a creek across from a lake, wooded farm land type area with scattered houses and businesses. 
 

Other (Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes:    I had reported this and the other sighting i had on another site but wanted to add this stuff since at the time i reported it i basically hadn't read anything about Bigfoot and didn't connect this with it. The area is businesses and houses close to the street then behind our house and the one next door was a field probably  a few hundred yards long, a hundred feet wide then edged on all sides by woods( the area has been build up a little more since) the woods were very thick behind the house. i went back to see about where a creek came out and couldn't even get through the brush straight behind the house. however the landlord occasionally mowed our field with his tractor and i occasionally went back there to take photos of wild flowers. the house to the right of us was vacant, a business was to the left of us. i noticed on one of my walks back there about 1/2 way between our house and the forest, basically close to the property line between the 2 houses what i now think might have been a nest as there was a very large( probably 4-5 ft high, 10-15 ft long) "pile" of branches and twigs. i couldn't figure out how they got there since the old lady who lived next door was homebound before she died and i didn't put them there and didn't ever see trees large enough for that many branches of that size to fall in  a storm or something. the parts of our yards near the nest/pile was mainly weeds/grass/wildflowers, hers very over grown, ours occasionally cut, although there were 2 or 3  large trees near it . but the pile of twigs/branches  would have had to have been dragged from the forest( maybe a hundred yards away), and like i said who would do that. the woods to the left of the house behind the business were not as thick but every time i tired to go into them i got so crewed out i just couldn't go. (more on that later)
