DATE:    September 21, 2005

TIME:     6:00 am

LOCATION:   Hughes County, Oklahoma

TERRAIN:    Grazing grasslands with woods in patched areas

OBSERVED:    It was a early morning for me around 5 am. I went outside to check on the dogs. As I was standing on the porch I saw it.  The porch is about 6 feet off the ground and you can see a good distance out in the field. The backyard is several acres of grassland for cows to graze on.  Behind the grasslands are some trees and water.  When I saw it, it was walking along a fence line of barb wire.  It was walking just casual, not after the cows, just passing through.  I really wasn't sure what was.  It was taller then the cows.  It was walking on four legs. At first i thought it was a wolf, but it was bigger than the cows it would of been one big wolf.  It wasn't the typical sitting of big foot with ape features. To me it was like the size of a horse, but it wasn't a horse.  I went to where the creature passed by, I didn't see any footprints although there might of been some. The land is sandy with dirt and could of easily left markings.

Activities of Witness:   I was at my girlfriends house in her yard. There are wild animals in the area. The animals are coyote, deer, and various smaller game. It was on her land which is a grazing area for cows with trees and water on the land.

Description of Creature:  The creature was taller then a cow, walking on four legs. It had long shaggy gray hair. It kinda walked not very smoothly with limp like walk to one side. It looked thin in torso area and long legs. It wasn't walking very fast but with the length of the legs it covered alot of ground. To me it looked like a wolf. By the size of it though it had to be a very very large wolf. It walked past the cows and was bigger than the cows. I don't know any wolf that is bigger than a cow. It didn't look like an ape or the typical stereotype of a sighting of bigot.  It wasn't a horse from the way it moved and the hair. There are no bears in the area, and it wasn't round enough or stocky enough to be a bear.  It did look wild with the hair stringing down and long. To me it looked like a very very large wolf.

Other Notes:    I have been camping many, many times. I have seen bears in the wild and wolfs. I know what animals look like even exotic ones. I have never claimed to see bigfoot or even if it exists. I do know what I saw that day was a very peculiar animal. If strange and unidentified animals are bigfoot, then I saw a bigfoot.

Other (Informational or Encounter History in the General Area) Notes:    I have decided to post my sittings after I saw a show on the history channel about sittings in Oklahoma around the Ada area.  Hudges county is not far from Ada. I was very shocked to hear about it after my own encounter. I have also seen peoples encounter in the same area on this web site. I thought it would be beneficial to add to the validity that there is something out there.
