TIME:         8:00 A.M.

LOCATION:    Talihina, Oklahoma, Latimer County

TERRAIN:      Mountains and wooded,
                    both pine and hardwood

OBSERVED:    Two other fellows and I were prospecting on a mountain named
Middle Mountain late one Thursday and my White 808 Metal Detector sounded off.
It was so late in the day that we decided to come back to the location the
next morning. One of the fellows was unable to go, therefore myself and the
other fellow returned to the same location.

We were riding ATV's and I was out in front of him. When he arrived I told
him that if I kept seeing things like I was looking at, I was going to
become a bigfoot believer. There in the pine needles was where something
had slept or laid down after we had left the location the day before. The
pine needles were matted about three inches deep about three feet wide and
about eight feet long.

We located this bed on Friday.  My wife teaches high school english and
I took her back to the location on Saturday with her camera but we were not
able to get the pictures to show the bed because the pine needles covered a
large area and we could not get the pictures to make the contrast to show the
bed. There had been gas well drilling in this area and the workmen had made
several reports of seeing a large hairy creature in the area. Up until I saw this bed I thought it was probably some animal that had gotten away from a small circus that winters in our area.

After the reports from the Honibia area I called one of the fellows dad and asked him
if he had seen any beds.   He said he had not but his sons had.   I asked him
to have them describe what they had seen.  He called me back and the
description he gave me of what they had seen matched what I had seen.

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:  n/a

OTHER NOTES:   At other times since then I have heard screams that match the
sounds I have heard online. I have heard these sounds while standing in my
own yard. My house is located xxx miles east of Talihina on Highway XX at
the foot of Xxxxxxxx Drive.
