TERRAIN:   Rolling Hills
 

OBSERVED:      I smelled the worst smell that I have ever came across while walking in the woods that Saturday evening looking for mushrooms.  I  then heard some screaming animal noises that I have never heard before.  I have grown up walking and playing in the woods and I've heard just about every animal there is in this area, and I know I have never heard these noises before.  I then heard the trees moving violently around me and the screams became grunts and continued to get closer to me.  I was very scared at this point and I began to walk at a fast pace.  And at that point I had a rock about one foot long and about a foot wide come flying by my head and hit the tree in front of me.

I then turned around and I saw a huge man ape like creature about seven to nine feet tall with brownish and black hair standing about forty yards behind me.  I also saw two other creatures that looked the same standing by each other a few feet behind the one that was beating its chest and breaking upright trees in half.  One of these creatures was about seven to eight feet tall with reddish brown hair, and the one that was standing by it was only about five to six feet tall.  It was much smaller than the other two, with brown reddish hair.  The largest of the three kept picking up large rocks and would thrown them in my direction.  I then ran as fast as I could, until I was back at my truck.  I couldn't believe what I saw, and I will never go into the woods again because I am in fear of this encounter.   I know its hard to believe, but I know what I saw and I will never forget it.

I have always been like the rest of the people who make fun of those who has claimed to see creatures like this, but after this encounter it has made a believer out of me.

Activities of Witness:  I was just looking for mushrooms.  I don't drink or anything like that, so that isn't what made me see these things.

Other Notes:      I've heard stories of these creatures before, but just blew them off and thought my family was just messing with me when I was a child.
 

Additional Notes or Comments:  This report has been determined to be a possible hoax.  The witness responded to our initial contact and verified that it was indeed a legitimate report.  However, since then, they have refused any form of contact with any of our investigators.  We will no longer attempt to follow up on this report.  However since the report ws already posted to the GCBRO web site, we are leaving it on here for reading entertainment only.  We would also like to state that, as with any Bigfoot report, use your own judgement and draw your own conclusions as to whether you believe this report to be on the up and up, or just another tall tale.
