Reported by: Confidential

Report Received From: The GCBRO Online Report Submission Form.

DATE:    June 2004

TIME:     Mid day

LOCATION:   OSAGE COUNTY,  OKLAHOMA

TERRAIN:    PASTURE LAND WITH WOODED AREAS ALL AROUND & HILLS

OBSERVED:    MY HUSBAND WAS HORSE BACK CHASING DOWN A DONKEY THAT HAD GOTTEN OUT OF
THE PASTURE (DONKEYS ARE SUPPOSE TO KEEP AWAY COYOTES FROM HARASSING COWS AND CALFS). THIS WAS A PASTURE ADJOINING HIS AND IT WAS VERY OVER GROWN SINCE THERE WERE NO CATTLE GRAZING IT.  HE SAID THAT HE GOT TO AN AREA WHERE THE GRASS WAS ABOUT 6 FT HIGH AND AS HE RODE THROUGH IT HE SPOOKED SOMETHING AND JUMPED IT UP, AT THE SAME TIME HIS HORSE JUMP SIDEWAYS, HE HAD TO FOLLOW THE HORSES HEAD SO NO TO GET THROWN OFF BUT OUT OF THE CORNER OF HIS EYE HE SAID SOMETHING VERY LARGE AT LEAST 6 TO 8 FOOT TALL JUMPED UP ON TWO FEET AND RAN INTO A WOODED AREA.

Activities of Witness:   RIDING HORSE BACK THROUGH A PASTURE

Description of Creature:  ONLY SEEN IT OUT OF THE CORNER OF HIS EYES BUT SAID IT WAS BETWEEN 6 AND
8 FT AND BLACK ALL OVER.

Other Notes:    HE GOES TO HIS (ADJOINING) PASTURE DAILY TO CHECK ON CATTLE AND HAS NOT
SEEN ANYTHING ELSE.  WE HAVE DEER STANDS IN THE AREA AND ONLY USED THEM ONCE OR
TWICE LAST YEAR (THIS IS A NEW PASTURE FOR US) BUT I AM GOING TO TAKE A CAMERA
THIS FALL WHEN I GET IN MINE.  MAYBE THAT WHY WE HAVE NOT SEEN ANY DEER TO SPEAK
OF IN AN AREA THAT SHOULD BE COVERED WITH THEM.

Additional Notes and or Follow up Comments Upon contact the witness had no additional information to add to this report.
