OBSERVED:    Every year a friend of mine and myself went to Mt Holley on the Yellow Breeches creek to go trout fishing and we would camp along the creek just outside of town. At the top of the mountain was a huge rock formation called Hammonds rock and as a popular party place for teens. In the spring of 1970 we were camping and watched dozens of cars go up the dirt road to the rock,,,about 2 hrs later dozens of cars came down in a hurry and a Vw stopped at our site and two 18-19 yr old teen stopped to tell us someone had seen a werewolf! Apparently they were beleiveable enough to cause everyone to leave the party. We laughed and they left, now back to the year 71 and again we were camping along the creek and had decided this sat nite we would go up to the party, not even thinking of the prev year as we drove up the several mile long dirt /gravel road to the top of the Mtn. Approx 1/2 mile from the top we rounded the corner and immediately we saw a very large hairy creature bound across the road in front of our headlights. The width of this road was just wide enough for 2 cars to pass one another but slowly and carefully as there are no gaurdrails or lights of any kind. This creature lept across this road in two leaps and was gone, we stopped for just a moment, looked at each other and sped up the hill only to turn around and go back down to our site. We never spoke of this after that nite for fear of being labeled nuts!
