OBSERVED: I
was hunting on the last day of deer season which is the 2nd
week of December. It was the end of the day as the sun was
going down and I was hanging in there to see if I could fill
my last deer tag. I was standing on a big boulder on top of
a hill/ridge that allowed me the high ground of seeing down
into the mountains. I then heard some of the deepest growls
and grunts that I have ever heard in my life. I hadnt heard
anything like that in my 12 years in the woods. It sounded
like a large ape I had heard at the zoo or on tv. I then
used my binos to scan the area I was hearing the noise from
when I saw a bipedal figure crouched down eating what looked
to be a dead deer carcus. I was terrified so I flipped the
safety off on my gun and was prepared to shoot whatever it
was I saw. I then fired a shot to try to scare it away and
it stood up and got even angrier. The creature I witnessed
was approximately 8 feet tall (bigger than any bear on its
hind legs). It was covered in auburn hair and had a face
almost human like but more ape like. It took off down the
mountain making the loudest thuds I have ever heard. I
havent been back to that spot since. I know I saw a bigfoot
but to this day have only told those closest to me.
