DATE:       June 1978

TIME:        At sunrise-not sure of time

LOCATION:    Hunting Island, South Carolina (Beaufort County)

TERRAIN:     Woods in front of me,lagoon behind me

OBSERVED:   I was 13 years old at the time, my father,and siblings and I
went walking around the lagoon. Sand fleas were biting so bad and I went back to
our car, I told my mom that i would stay with the baby while she got out to
walk with the rest of the family.  I was holding the baby and i noticed the
sun coming up.  I looked down at the baby and something blocked the sun
light from the car, I looked up and I saw this "thing" standing in front of the
car.  I was so scared I didn't know what to do so I locked all of the car
doors and closed my eyes and held on to the baby as tight as I could.  I
didn't open my eyes until my family came back pounding on the windows.
 

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESS(ES):    I HAD JUST ARRIVED BACK AT FAMILY CAR, FAMILY WAS WALKING AROUND THE LAGOON.
 

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:   VERY TALL.  REDDISH BROWN HAIR, HAIR WAS A LITTLE WAVY, NOT  CURLY, HAIR WAS FAIRLY LONG AND KIND OF SHAGGY. STANDING UP RIGHT LIKE A HUMAN
