LOCATION:   Chesterfield County, South Carolina  
 

TERRAIN:    Wooded 

 
OBSERVED:     Myself and two other friends were hanging in the woods drinking at the boat landing.  Suddenly a huge figure emerged from the woods about 25 yards away.  This figure walked down to the river's edge, knelt down and drank from the river using its cupped hand.  After a few moments it turned around and went back into the woods.  Years later in a friends living room I told this story to him as a bigfoot show was coming on tv.  Coincidentally the show featured a man with a nearly identical story and an animated illustration of a bigfoot drinking water from a river in an identical fashion.

Description of Creature:  it was very dark but there was enough star/moon light that we could tell the creature or person was very large.
