OBSERVED: I
walk my dog along a small dirt road, that was constructed as
an easement to properties behind our apartment complexes
into the woods. It is always filled with Deer and Wild Boar,
Armadillo and Wild Turkey. One afternoon a in late August/
early Sept. my dog was acting really out of character.
Normally he is excited to talk our walk down this dirt road,
but, on this afternoon he refused to go down the road. He
literally dog his paws into the dirt and would not budge.
The next day almost the same thing happened, but I demanded
he 'come' with me. As we were walking I got this very eerie
feeling I was being watched, and I could someone/something
paralleling me as I walked. As we were making our way back
down the road I thought I aught something out of the corner
of my eye, and my dog was on high alert, though whimpering
to leave. (This is an important detail because our dog
(Korean Jindo is bred not to bark or make noise...and he
NEVER does, except for this afternoon.)
Nothing much happened after that afternoon, until yesterday.
On our daily walk I found a huge pile of scat/feces (to big
for bear or boar, or even human) it was right in the middle
of the crossroad between two dirt roads in which I walk.
I took a picture w/ a pen beside it for reference. Then
looking around the area I found a Deers ear which had been
ripped from the body, still a bloody mess.Then I walked a
ways down the road and found a pile of Rabbit fur.
Now my curiosity being peaked I decide to walk around see if
I could fine a foot print, but was unable to locate any. But
in my walks in the tall grasses I found an obvious bedding
for some animal. It was these tall grasses almost weaved or
tied together and it was almost as tall as I...and it was
concave where a very large animal bedded for the night. (I
took a picture of this as well).

Did not see anything.
Other Notes: I
am a married woman 49 years old. I grew up in the foothills
of the Adirondack mountains in upstate NY. I have lived in
the backwoods my whole life and am very familiar with the
normal sights, sounds and smells of the woods...so when I
say I had never seen scat/feces like that I mean it!
