THERE ARE PHOTOGRAPHS WITH THIS REPORT
RECEIVED: From the G.C.B.R.O. Web Site Submission Form

DATE:       1800 - 2001

TIME:        Various Dates

LOCATION:  Dickson County, Tennessee

TERRAIN:   Clearing, wooded on 3 sides, creek and woods

OBSERVED:   This report was submitted TO our online submission form.  Because of the similarities of bigfoot type activity where the individual describs a werewolf type creature with glowing red eyes, white hair, over 7 foot tall, walking upright, it sounded like this could possibly be a Bigfoot and not a werewolf as the local residents believe to this day.  Upon talking with the eyewitnesses, it was also made known that some hunters had taken their champion beagle hounds to this area for a practice hunt.  The men heard the dogs yelp and then silence.  No amount of calling brought the dogs back to the them.  They gave up calling to them and went home, returning the next day.  All they could find was dog collars and some of the dogs rib cages.  Nothing else was ever found of these beagle hound dogs.  Since our TN team already knew of an ongoing bigfoot sighting not less than five miles from this area reported here, it was decided to investigate both areas on the same day.  First, here is what the eyewitnesses reported on our online submission form below:

There is a place called XXXXXXXXXXXXX.  Which is reported to house a number of paranormal creatures, the most famous of which is a creature of which has the cunning of a wolf, and the strenghth of 3 men.  It reportdly came to this area around the 1800's from a carnival train wreck.  The train was loaded with all the "freak show" creatures and also all the animals from the carnival.  The train derailed in the area of XXXXXXX.  The caretakers were able to capture all the animals, except for the pair of these half-man, half- beast creatures.  The location of this supposed area is named XXXXXXXXX, which is down a long dirt road in the middle of nowhere.

Activities of Witness(es):   Just a bunch of people out trying to disprove an urban legend.

Description of Creature:     Cunning of a wolf, strenghth of 3 men, white fur, screams like a man., no one is brave enough to visit there.  There have been many reported occurences at this location and in the 15 mile radius that surrounds these woods.

Other Notes:       It is a very serene place, but very out of the ordanary,  it's just too quiet, and all the while you are there you feel like something is watching, you can feel it.  Animals have been known to just disappear, then reappear days later with claw marks, or dismembered.  The park ranger claims that when the nightly train comes by you can hear a howling like something is lost.  You can ask anyone in this area about it and everyone can tell you the location, and tell you not to be caught there after dark.  I've been there myself after dark, while we were there trying to disprove the theory, we heard a growling, and looked in the light that our headlights were giving off, and we seen two large glowing red eyes coming straight for us.  You have never seen people jumping through windows so fast, nor did you ever realise how fast an automobile could go in reverse.  Something's there and it's not friendly.

OTHER SIGHTINGS IN THIS AREA?: Yes

INVESTIGATIVE REPORT

On August 19, 2001, we went into this area and also the other area nearby.  An emergency came up with one of the eyewitnesses and no interview was taken at this time, but plans are being made to get together with two different eyewitnesses as soon as possible.

The findings from Sherry Malin's files are:

Upon investigation of SiteOne:  Found:  Tracks were found, as well as many bows, snaps, teepee and X formations.  A scat sample was found and has been sent off for analysis.  I also found what looked to be formations up in the trees to.  This is the place that the video pictures were made.  The video shows some of the formations and what I believe to be foot prints.

Upon investigation of Site Two:  Found: I did not find as many bows, snaps, teepee and X formations as at the first site. I did not find any actual foot prints, just disturbed vegitation and such, on our way back out of the woods.

Upon searching the area mentioned in this report we heard something following us in the woods.  We both agreed that we were being watched.  Soon, a loud snap was heard.  Tony turned to see what had made the noise and saw, squatted by a tree, a very big creature.  The creature was a light reddish brown with white on it's undersides, and it was following along off to the side of us when it was seen.  When the creature saw that he was discovered, he then stood up on two legs and ran off deeper into the woods.  Tony gave chase first with me following as he was trying to catch a better glimpse of what type of creature it was.  I had hurt my toe the day before and could not keep up with him.  An estimation on the height of the creature was at least 8 - 10 foot tall and when it ran, it seemed to glide along easily, was extremely fast and out of sight in a few moments.  We ran until we couldn't run anymore and did not see or hear the creature again.  Finding we had gotten somewhat lost in the ensuing chase, we spent a lot of time finding our way out again.  We found where we had entered the woods before nightfall.  It was then that we found many disturbances to the ground, stepped on mushrooms, etc. that was not disturbed on our way into the woods.  Our companions who had been waiting for several hours had become alarmed and were just considering alerting the rescue squad.  A trip is planned to same locations this weekend.

Updates will be posted at a later date.  Another field trip is planned into these same areas very soon.
