THERE ARE PHOTOGRAPHS WITH THIS REPORT:
RECEIVED: From the Field Research Files of Mary Green

DATE:          09/01/01

TIME:           9:00 A.M. CST

LOCATION:   Jackson County, Tennessee

TERRAIN:        River Bottom, Wooded, w/hills each side of river

OBSERVED:    At approximately 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. CST, the witness had taken her dog out to do his business.  She had been forced to keep her dog inside for many months due to losing a family favorite last June and also all of their dogs five years prior to this.  She had the golden retriever, a large, trim animal, on a leash.  She walked it to the area they had designated for such a purpose.  She noticed that the dog began to whine and circle around her feet and would not use the bathroom.  Out of the corner of her eye she sensed some movement on the hill above her.  Her property lies in front of a very mounded, tall hill with the river behind her.

A 7 foot tall bipedal creature leaped over a fence about 200 yards above her on the hill, took a few giant strides in a dead run and leaped over another fence before going straight up and over the hill and out of her sight.

She described the creature as being heavier and more muscular than the one she saw in the same spot in April of 1999. Both creatures had been bipedal, the only difference on this one was it was a very dark brown in color, almost black in appearance.  The first creature had been learner and dark gray in color and didn't move as fast as this one did in September of 2001.

The eyewitness knew that I was worrying with a very serious illness of a family member and waited until the middle of October to tell me about the additional sighting.  Susan and I went to the site on October 21, 2001.  We had investigated another sighting report in another county earlier, and because of the amount of farm animals on this piece of property, could not place the camtracker there, so we decided to place it in this area of Jackson County.  Before setting up our camera the witness showed us where the creature had leaped over the first and second fence.  There was a path on the other side of the first fence of high weeds, plants, underbrush that had been plowed through, leaving a wide path of destruction.  The broken over plants/brush had died somewhat, but it was very plain to see where something very large had came through there.

We next examined the fence in the spot where the creature was supposed to have jumped over and found one hair sample on the first fence that looked very suspicious due to the fact that I had already found an unknown primate hair sample in a nearby county in February of 1998 which Dr. Henner Fahrenbach had analyzed at that time.  The hair here looked almost the same as the hair sample I collected then.  It was bagged and marked for location.  Another hair sample was found on this same fence in the same spot but it was different and of a two tone color, shorter in nature and the tiniest of a fraction thicker.  It was also collected, bagged, and labeled.

The second fence yielded another hair sample that was much more abundant and it also was done in the same manner.  Contact was made with Dr. Fahrenbach and the samples sent on the following Monday and we are awaiting the results of his analyses at the present moment.  An update will be posted to this report when we know for certain just what type of animal the hair samples came from if possible.

The camtracker is still up and will remain there for a while to see if this creature can be captured on film.  This information will also be updated at a later date, once the camera is taken down.

ACTIVITIES OF WITNESS(ES):   Witness was taking her dog out to relieve itself.

DESCRIPTION OF CREATURE:  Approximatley 7 foot tall, upright, muscular and hair a very dark brown, almost black.  Ran with incredible swiftness and with giant strides., Yes, another sighting report from this residence was filed on the GCBRO database in Jackson County in 1999.

OTHER NOTES:   The eyewitness saw five creatures sitting on the hill to the left of her home the night in June when one of her aforementioned dogs went missing.  The other dog, the golden retriever they still have alive came back to the home with large, claw-like gashes on her.  The dog was very ill and almost died that night, as if (she said) it had been poisoned.  I explained to her that the extreme loss of blood and shock that might result from that and the horrible nature of the wounds the dogs sustained had probably put the animal in shock.  They are very glad it survived, but the other dog never returned.

OTHER OTHER NOTES:   No additional observations were noted at this time except there were many pumpkin vines that had yielded small pumpkins in close vicinity to these two fences.  Several had looked to be half eaten by some type of creature.

OTHER SIGHTINGS IN THIS AREA?:  Yes, prior one at same location, many others within a five mile radius for 35 years or more.

View where eyewitness watched bigfoot
leap over the two fences.  Susan and her youngest
son are going to check the camtracker for need of
film and batteries.  The bigfoot was in view while it
leaped the fence on the right, and then leaped the
fence directly in front of Susan, then proceded up the
hill.

This is a view of the hill behind
the eyewitnesses home where the
Bigfoot was running up and over to
the river below on the other side.  The
eyewitness and her husband told me
there were caves on the other side that
was investigated by Joseph Bell in 1999
on the prior sighting with no findings at
that time.

home (back yard) where she saw the five bigfoot sitting
on the ground after dusk the night her dogs
were attacked.
