OBSERVED:    It was the late 70's, early 80's and it was late at night. I couldn't have been over 12. My sister, XXXX, cousin, XXXX and I were playing outside on the tire swing, which was right beside my uncles driveway. About 12 feet over, there is a dropoff that goes straight down to the river. They decided to go in the house for something, I don't recall exactly what. I heard a noise, leaves crunching and jumped off of the swing to run inside. It was then that I noticed about halfway down the drive, there was a white creature about the size of a very large dog. It stood on 4 legs, the front 2 being longer than the back 2.

I stopped and stared in awe at this creature, because I had never seen anything like it. It stared back at me. I was froze and was afraid to move. The red eyes gazed at me and it was like I was in a trance. I started moving towards it, very slowly. It was then my sister and cousin walked out laughing and slammed the back door.

When I turned to look at them and tell them to shut up and come look, it ran off down the driveway. I turned back to see it running and quickly jump over the dropoff and vanish.
 
Now, I am 34 and live not 2 miles from where it happened. My uncle still lives in the same place.

About 2 weeks ago, a friend of mine, who I have never told this to came over and said she seen a white creature. From her account, the one she seen stood on 2 legs and ran in behind a barn.

What is interesting is that there is a cave right around the curve from my uncles house. I am not sure if this creature lives in it or not. I have been told that this cave was explored and it is one of many caves that are connected to the xxx xxxxx cave (an underground network of caves and caverns).A
 

Activities of Witness:   Playing outside at night, by the dropoff (bluff) on the other side of the drive.
 

Description of Creature:  It had extremely short or slick white hair. It was the size of a very large dog and the front 2 legs were longer than the back 2 legs. It had red eyes and either no or very small ears.
 

Other Notes:    My uncle told me that one night there was a sound that came from behind an old garage door that he had leaning up against a tree. My cousin, Mike threw a rock and it rang against the old door. This white creature came running out from behind it. My uncle shot it, he swore he hit it but it ran off.

My friend, XXXX seen a white creature that she said stands on 2 legs. This one was seen at dusk and had green eyes. She approached the top of the hill and it ran behind an old barn off to the right side of the road.

Also, down the road a little from my uncles house it is quite secluded and dogs are constantly being dumped there. Not too long ago, I found a litter of pups and their mother had been killed. She managed to crawl back to the tree and died there with her pups. Have pictures. There is another dog, just spotted a few days ago, not far from the first with its stomach ripped out. I took pictures of a paw print that was about as large as my hand. The creature that made this print had to be pretty heavy and the claws made huge marks in the mud.
While my daughter and I were there taking pictures, we heard a very loud growling sound when we came to one certain area at the river bank. You can see the dead dog with its stomach ripped out from the road. I have not been brave enought to venture back out there with my camera. Might try to go today..
