TIME:  10:00-12:00PM

LOCATION:    Angelina County,  Texas, St.Hwy. 94 near the Neches River

TERRAIN:   Wooded, This area was once part of  The Big Thicket,swampy

OBSERVED:   We saw something squatted in the bushes where a pipeline crosses a dirt road.  My freind
shined a light up in the bushes when he seen a movement and was looking into two red eyes.  I was driving and shining out the left side of the truck when he began yelling, I turned to see a grayish looking form stand up and turn back towards the woods,I only saw what looked like an arm and part of the head. After that, all I wanted to do was get away as fast as possible.There was a rotten smell in my truck for a few days after this.

I grew up hearing about Callahans monster which was supposed to of prowled around the area of Lufkins east loop, And I have heard of something chasing cows in the Peavy Switch area which is the area I had my sighting.

Description of Creature:   N/A

Activities of Witness:   We were hunting rabbit by idling along back roads and pipelines.

Other Notes:  There has been another time while parking when I heard something crying in the woods and had a feeling something was waching me.

Other Other Notes:  This area is largly owned by timber companies and kept as hunting clubs. The Trinity-houston county side is largly national forest and thinly populated.
